Cook Islands in the South Pacific Map

The Cook Islands is located in the South Pacific Ocean between Tahiti (French Polynesia) in the east, and Tonga and Fiji in the west. It is distinctly Polynesian, is affiliated with New Zealand, and its people speak Maori. However, the main language spoken is English, making it a popular destination for holidaymakers from around the world. The map shows the location of Cook Islands.

International flights arrive from New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, USA, and Tahiti. The local domestic airline, Air Rarotonga, offers onward flights to many of the Cook Islands other atolls and islands.
